Hamilton police search for wanted man considered ‘dangerous’

Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help as they continue their search for a wanted 29-year-old man who they say should be considered dangerous.

Shamaree Salmon is believed to be connected to an assault involving a weapon that happened in the area of Barton St. and Wentworth St. on June 17.

Salmon is wanted for assault with a weapon, uttering threats and three counts of failure to comply with probation.

Police encourage residents to not approach Salmon if he is seen and they should contact 911 immediately.

Anyone with information that could help police locate this man are asked to contact the on-duty Division One Staff Sergeant at 905-546-4725.
