Hamilton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted after an alleged sexual assault on Stoney Creek Mountain.

Around 11:40 p.m. on Monday, police say a woman was exiting a city bus in the area of Mud St. West and Paramount Dr. when an unknown man followed her off the bus.

Officers say the man continued to follow the victim towards a nearby trail where he sexually assaulted the woman.

The suspect is described as Indian, in his 30’s, five-foot-seven and skinny to medium build. He was last seen wearing a black turban and dark clothing.
