Hamilton police release image of suspect vehicle in weekend shooting

Hamilton police have released an image of a vehicle suspected to be involved in a shooting that happened over the weekend.

Police say they responded to a shooting in the area of King William St. and John St. North around 1:45 a.m. where they found two 24-year-old men with gunshot wounds.

Both men were taken to hospital to be treated and are now in stable condition.

Police have identified a suspect vehicle that they say is involved in this incident, describing it as a newer model brown Mercedes-Benz.

The public is encouraged to come forward if they have knowledge of this vehicle being in the area of King William St. and John St. North between the hours of 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. on Sunday.
