Hamilton Police looking for target of a West Mountain shooting Tuesday

Hamilton police have launched an investigation after a bullet casing was found at the scene of a reported shooting on Tuesday.
Officers say that they responded to a call about a suspected shooting shortly before 11:30 p.m. in the area of Mohawk Rd. West and Magnolia Dr. Upon arrival, they spoke with two witnesses who said they had heard two gunshots.

Investigators discovered a bullet casing and have confirmed witness statements that a firearm was discharged in the area.
At this time, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
It is believed that the target of the shooting did not remain on scene and police are looking to speak to them.
