Hamilton police investigate reports shooting on West Mountain

Hamilton police are investigating reports of gunshots heard on Hamilton’s West Mountain on Saturday night.

Officers responded to the Purnell Drive area shortly after 11:00 p.m. and were able to confirm a firearm was discharged in a parking lot within the complex.

There are no reports of injuries and police believe it was a targeted incident.

Anyone with information or security camera footage of the area is asked to contact police.
