Hamilton police say the body of an 80-year-old woman who has been missing for three days has been found.

Shirley Love was last seen near her home on Mount Albion Rd. around 2 p.m. on Tuesday walking towards the Glendale Golf Course.

Police set up a command post at the golf course for those wanting to help search for Shirley.

Police say over 300 community members have come out to help.

At this time, the family is asking for privacy to grieve but have expressed their gratitude towards the community members who have reached out to help.
