Hamilton police discover firearm in downtown shooting investigation

Hamilton police are investigating a report of gunshots that took place downtown early Saturday morning where a firearm was discovered.

At around 4 a.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of Jackson Street West and Catharine Street South.

Detectives say no one was injured but that they recovered a firearm in the area.

Anyone with information or video are asked to call 905-546-4925.
