A Hamilton man is dealing with critical injuries following a motor vehicle collision on Monday.

Officers say the man was the driver of a Ford F150 that lost control on Upper James St. near Glanair Dr. shortly before 6 p.m.

After losing control, the car left the roadway and stopped in a densely treed area.

The driver was taken to the hospital for his injuries where he remains.

The affected area of Upper James St. was closed for several hours for officers to investigate the collision. It has since reopened.
