Hamilton man faces multiple charges after police respond to gun call

A 37-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a call about a weapon at an apartment in Hamilton’s east end Friday morning.

Police spokesperson Krista-Lee Ernst says officers responded to 225 Melvin Ave., near Parkdale Avenue North, for a person with a firearm.

No injuries were reported.

A Hamilton man was arrested and charged with two counts of carrying a concealed weapon, four counts of possession contrary to order and two counts of possession of prohibited weapons.
