Hamilton man dies after 2-vehicle collision in Hagersville

Haldimand OPP are investigating a two-vehicle collision in Haldimand County that took the life of a 22-year-old Hamilton man.

The incident occurred at the intersection of McKenzie Road and Third Line in Hagersville around 12:45 p.m. on Sept. 13.

Haldimand fire and emergency services and OPP assisted on the scene.

The driver and the passenger of one vehicle were transported to a trauma hospital with serious injuries where the passenger later died.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Third Line was closed at Highway 6 and Haldimand Road 9, and McKenzie Road was closed at Second Line and Fourth Line while the OPP Traffic Incident team investigated. The roads were later re-opened.
