Hamilton man facing nearly 40 charges including human trafficking

York Regional Police have laid 38 charges against a Hamilton man in relation to drugs, guns and human trafficking.

Police say investigators identified a female working in the sex trade who had been allegedly assaulted by her suspected pimp.

27-year-old Jerome Hines is charged with several offences related to human trafficking, drugs, and firearms.

He is due in court next week.

Police believe he may be involved with other sex trade workers and are asking for other alleged victims to come forward.
