Hamas accepts Gaza ceasefire proposal

A major development in the war in Gaza. Hamas has accepted an Egyptian-Qatari ceasefire proposal.

It came just hours after Israel ordered about 100,000 Palestinians to begin evacuating Rafah.

It’s a military move that is not sitting well with the United States. President Joe Biden reiterating to his Israeli counterpart that the U.S. does not support an invasion of the Hamas-controlled city in the southern Gaza Strip.
