Halton police investigate after armed home invasion in Milton

First Published:

Police are investigating after a home invasion Tuesday morning in the area of Tremaine Road and Louis St. Laurent Boulevard injured one resident.

Officers responded to reports of a break in just before noon to a home in the town of Milton.

Detectives learned a group of four suspects posed as a food delivery service and forced themselves into the house while in possession of a firearm.

Emergency crews allege that a man who lives in the home was assaulted and suffered non-life-threatening injuries before being sent to hospital.

Police say once the suspects were inside they took jewelry and other valuables from the home and believe that the invasion was targeted.

Investigators say the four suspects were wearing tracksuits, masks, glasses and hooded sweaters during the incident.

Anyone with video of the area between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. are asked to contact police.
