Halton police arrest 69-year-old man following fire at Tim Hortons in Burlington

Halton police have arrested a 69-year-old man of no fixed address after a fire at Tim Hortons in Burlington Wednesday night.
The flames reportedly broke out around 1:30 a.m. at a Tim Hortons on Brant Street, with several other small fires found burning in garbage cans in the same plaza.
Burlington Fire Services were able to extinguish the fires and no injuries have been reported.
Police say the fires were considered suspicious and a 69-year-old man at the scene of no fixed address was arrested.
The man was charged with arson in relation to the Tim Hortons fire, and investigators also found him responsible for a series of dumpster fires that happened on Dec. 13 in Burlington.
