Halton police arrest 60-year-old softball coach after sexual assault investigation

Halton police have arrested a 60-year-old softball coach following a sexual assault investigation.

Stephen Jones, 60, of Milton was arrested on Friday and has been charged with sexual assault and exploitation.

Police say Jones is a softball youths girls coach in Kitchener and Guelph and may have previously coached in Halton.

Investigators say the victim is underage and they believe there may be additional victims.

Jones was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
