Hagersville ‘Catch the Ace’ $1M jackpot resumes today

UPDATE: No ace was caught tonight which means, the Progressive Jackpot continues to grow. Next week’s estimated prize will likely be nearing 1.2M.
Hagersville is going to be a busy town today as “Catch the Ace” remains up for grabs.
The current Catch the Ace jackpot is estimated at over $1.2 million. Tickets go on sale at 10:30 a.m., it can only be purchased in person and is cash only.
It’s the only day of the week to buy tickets for the Hagersville Lion’s Club lottery.
Volunteers with the Lion’s Club ask individuals to bring their own pen.

Half of the money raised from the lottery will go to the West Haldimand General Hospital, the local food bank and Hagersville Lions community projects.
A constant stream of people have lined up outside of the Hagersville Royale Canadian Legion for their shot at the jackpot.
Every Thursday, a name is pulled from tickets sold that day where someone wins the weekly jackpot, but so far no one has won the progressive prize.
The draw will be live at 8 p.m. tonight at CHCH News.
