Each pep rally is being held in partnership with Purolator’s “Tackle Hunger Program” and will have the Tiger-Cats, students and the community coming together to fill the shelves of Hamilton Food Share.
“This year’s Grey Cup Festival is special as it offers another opportunity for people to share their love for the game while also giving back,” says John Ferguson, President and CEO of Purolator.
This isn’t the only way students will be a part of the celebrations. The Hamilton-Wentworth public and catholic school boards have scheduled a P.A. day on November 17 to give students and their families a chance to join in on the festival fun.
The 110th Grey Cup festival officially begins on Nov. 16 with events planned all the way up to the big game on Nov. 19.
