On Tuesday, police arrested Daniel Holland, 38, for first-degree murder.
Holland was arrested, interviewed and released early in the investigation however, police say he misled investigators during his initial interview.
“Evidence unveiled during the ongoing investigation contradicted much of Holland’s claims,” said police in a news release.
“This led investigators to form the grounds that he in fact participated in Hoang’s death despite not being present at the start of the incident.”
