Former EA in Halton charged with child pornography offences

A former educational assistant with the Halton District School Board has been arrested and faces several charges related to child pornography.
Halton police say they arrested 42-year-old Cameron Ivens of Milton on Thursday in relation to an internet child exploitation investigation.
He faces the following charges:
- Make child pornography – 15 counts
- Voyeurism – 14 counts
- Sexual Assault -six counts
- Possession of Child Pornography – three counts
- Sexual Interference – three counts
- Exposure to Person Under 16 Years – two counts
- Assault – two counts
- Transmit child pornography
- Access child pornography
- Invitation to Sexual Touching
Police say Ivens was previously employed as an educational assistant at two schools in Milton and two schools in Oakville.

He worked at Milton’s P.L Robertson Public School for three months in 2014, from February to October.
Then he was reportedly employed at Munns Public School in Oakville from October 2014 to November 2015.
From November 2015 to August 2019 Ivens worked at Emily Carr Public School in Oakville, and then he was at Viola Desmond Public School in Milton from September to December 2019.
Police say the accused also worked at Rick Imus Music Studio in Milton for one year around 2008 before starting his own company called Pitch Perfect Piano Service in 2012.
Ivens reportedly taught private music lessons to children in their homes around 2015.
