(Updated) Fans came out to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ headquarters to see their eastern champs off to Regina.

It’s the Ticats’ first Grey Cup game since 1999.

The team gathered at four this afternoon at the Cats’ business office on Jarvis Street, to catch a bus to Pearson International Airport where they’ll fly to Regina to get ready for Sunday’s big game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The last time Hamilton and Saskatchewan played each other in a Grey Cup match was in 1989 when Hamilton coach Kent Austin was the Roughriders quarterback.

Ken Welch is leading our team to the 101st Grey Cup to cover all the action.
