Driver dead following collision at Cayuga racetrack: OPP

A 69-year-old is dead following a collision at a Cayuga racetrack on Saturday.

The Ontario Provincial Police say they responded shortly after 2:30 p.m. to the Toronto Motorsports Park on Kohler Road.

Officers say two dragsters crashed, and one of the drivers, a 69-year-old from North York, was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries.

The driver of the other dragster was not injured.

The OPP says the National Hot Rod Association is investigating.
