Dozens of crews battle multiple-alarm industrial fire in Beamsville

Dozens of firefighters battled a multiple-alarm fire at a manufacturing plant in Beamsville early Friday morning.

Lincoln Fire Rescue were met with heavy smoke and flames when they arrived to Moyer’s Apple Products located at 4758 Christie Dr. shortly before 3 a.m.

A second alarm was activated, prompting the Pelham Fire Department to attend the scene to provide additional help.

Lincoln’s Fire Chief Greg Hudson says it is unclear if anyone was inside of the building at the time of the blaze as the plant was closed.

There are no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Crews battled the blaze for more than 12 hours and it is now fully under control.
