Dollarama, PetSmart to move into former Target space in Centre on Barton

The retail space that formerly housed Target in the Centre on Barton is finally seeing new tenants.

Triovest, the commercial real estate business that oversees the Hamilton mall, confirmed to CHCH News that Dollarama and PetSmart have decided to relocate and expand their stores.

It is unclear what will happen with Dollarama’s and PetSmart’s existing locations in the outdoor shopping centre.

The Target that filled the space before was vacated in early 2015 when the chain decided to close its Canadian locations.
