Doctors are researching a potentially life saving procedure and they’re crowdfunding the study. Crowdfunding is where you create a donation website and ask the public to help fund your cause.

Juravinski is one of the first hospitals in Canada to crowdfund medical research and they just launched their campaign today. Because their hip surgery study affects so many people, they’re hoping the public will open its pockets.

You can find their crowdfunding page here: www.indiegogo.com/projects/hip-attack-clinical-trial
