Consumers planning Loblaw boycott

Disgruntled shoppers in Canadian grocery aisles are pledging to completely check out at Loblaw stores.

A Reddit group called “Loblaws is out of control” has nearly 60,000 members, who plan to take part in a boycott of the grocery giant next month.

Loblaw has faced scrutiny over grocery prices, while the industry navigates through inflation and labour issues.

While it’s unclear how many people will take part in this planned boycott in May, organizers say they plan on hitting the company where it hurts… their revenue.
