Child found dead after fire in camping trailer in Haldimand County

The Ontario Provincial Police found a dead child inside a camping trailer after a fire was extinguished in Haldimand County.
Emergency crews responded to a fire on Mississauga Rd. in Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation shortly before 2 a.m. Monday.
Investigators say six people, including two adults and four children, were able to escape and suffered minor injuries.

OPP and the Office of the Fire Marshal are continuing to investigate this incident, updates will be provided when new information becomes available.
Victim Services of Haldimand-Norfolk-New Credit were engaged and are assisting family members and the victims involved in this incident.
