Premier Kathleen Wynne is in Angus today touring damage from Tuesday’s tornado.

Wynne surveyed decimated houses and the wake of debris. She spoke about the impact of surveying the destruction with her own eyes.

“Peoples belongings and parts of peoples houses have been displaced so the debris you could see from the pictures, the degree of damage the roofs taken off, second floors completely removed, but what’s harder to see from the pictures…between the rows of houses, that debris doesn’t necessarily belong to the house that its next to,” said Wynne.

Wynne said disaster relief funds will go through the usual process. She thanked residents who can still not return home for their patience.
