Writers and studios meet for third consecutive day of talks

Hollywood studios and striking screenwriters spent the last three days in talks that could potentially put an end to the nearly five-month dispute bringing many film and television productions to a halt.
The Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have been fighting for better rights over issues of pay, the size of writing staff on shows, and the use of artificial intelligence in the creation of scripts.
