It’s named after U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s “Moonshot,” which aimed to land a man on the moon in less than ten years.
This award is looking for disruptive solutions to environmental challenges. Awards will be issued in five categories: oceans, air pollution, nature, climate and waste.
The awards will be given each year for ten years, and the winner in each category will receive one million British pounds.
