Worker injured falling from ship

A worker on a freighter is recovering after falling into icy waters at the Welland Canal.

It happened Wednesday afternoon during a life boat drill on “The Frontenac”. The ship is getting ready to leave for the opening of the canal. The 62-year old is in hospital recovering from hypothermia and a fractured leg.
