Woman’s body found near Chedoke Rail Trail

The body of a 60-year-old woman was found near the Chedoke Rail Trail by the south end of Dundurn Street in Hamilton Sunday morning.

The woman was discovered just after 11 am by some hikers just off of the trail.

Hamilton Police say at this time it doesn’t appear the woman’s death is suspicious, but the incident is now a Coroner’s investigation with which it is now assisting.

The woman has not been identified yet.
