UPDATE: Woman arrested following stabbing at Jerelday Lodge: Hamilton Police

Hamilton Police have arrested a woman who was wanted for an overnight stabbing at an assisted living facility.
Police say two residents of the Jerelday Lodge on Main St. E were socializing in a room around 1 a.m. Tuesday, when a man was stabbed “without provocation.”
Officers were called and found the 35-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
He is in stable condition in hospital.
Police released a photo of Jamie Lee Saulteax, 23, Tuesday morning.
Saulteax was wanted for aggravated assault.
In a tweet, police say she was spotted in the area of Arthur Ave. and Wilson St., not far from the Jerelday Lodge.
UPDATE: Stabbing suspect Jamie Saulteaux has been taken into police custody without incident in the area of Arthur Ave/Wilson St. She was recognized by a concerned citizen who viewed an HPS social media post earlier today. Matter to be heard at court tomorrow. #HamOnt

She has a court appearance scheduled on Wednesday.
