Woman sexually assaulted in Niagara Falls tourist area

Niagara police are searching for five suspects after a woman was sexually assaulted in Niagara Falls early Saturday morning.

Police say the victim was walking down a laneway near Clifton Hill and Victoria Ave. around 3 a.m. when she was “accosted and sexually assaulted” by five men.

The woman did not suffer any life threatening injuries but was taken to a Niagara hospital for treatment.

Investigators are looking for five suspects, all of whom are thought to be in their late 20’s.

Police have released the following suspects descriptions:

Suspect 1: male, Hispanic, medium build, 5’10” to 5’11” tall, 200 lbs, had stubble on his face, a fair complexion and coarse short black hair. He was wearing fitted blue jeans, a white short-sleeved t-shirt with a logo resembling a horseshoe, red and tan coloured shoes, and a gold chain necklace with a cross pendant.

Suspect 2: male, black, athletic build, 6’2″ tall, buzzed fade style haircut. He was wearing: black jeans, dark blue or black hoodie, grey shoes, and a gold chain necklace.

Suspect 3: male, black, stocky build, 6’2″ tall, fade style haircut. He was wearing: dark athletic style t-shirt and fitted grey jogging pants.

Suspect 4: male, black, stocky build, 6’2″ to 6’3″ tall. He was wearing a casual top, fitted pants and sneakers.

Suspect 5: male, black, stocky build, 6’2″ to 6’3″ tall. He was wearing a black and red “Raptors” snapback cap, casual top, fitted pants and sneakers.
