A woman claims she spent 15 years being abused and brainwashed by a cult-like leader Jarry Ahlowalia.

Ahlowalia was arrested in December 2019, after police searched his Mount Nemo-area multi-family mansion and nearby restaurant “Wundeba” on Guelph Line.

He has pleaded not guilty to more than two dozen charges, including assault, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

His virtual trial began Wednesday with a publication ban being ordered to protect the identity of the victims.

A warning to viewers that details are disturbing.
