Despite warning signs, firefighters perform another rescue at Albion Falls

A woman had to be rescued by firefighters after reportedly hopping a safety fence installed by the City of Hamilton around Albion Falls.
A rope rescue was not required as firefighters managed to carry the woman up the stairs.
The city has been installing fencing at Albion Falls and they plan to be back on Monday. The fence is meant to deter people from the gorge and redirect hikers to a lookout on the north side of the area.
The plastic snow fencing proved to be ineffective in the past but now questions are being raised about the 6 foot metal fence after people managed to get around it over the course of the weekend.
