Woman jumps out of moving vehicle, found lying on road: Niagara police

Police are investigating after a woman got out of a moving vehicle and was found lying on a road with injuries in St. Catharines on Sunday evening.
Officers say they responded around 7:45 p.m. to the intersection of Carlton and Geneva streets.
Investigators learned that the woman voluntarily jumped out of the moving vehicle following a disturbance inside.
Emergency crews then found the woman lying on the road. Paramedics transported her to an out-of-region hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say no criminal charges have been laid at this time.
