Woman hurt in Hamilton home invasion

Hamilton police are investigating an overnight home invasion in the city’s east end.

It happened shortly after 12 a.m. Monday on Graham Ave. North.

Police say a 44-year-old woman suffered a minor facial laceration during the incident.

Several officers including members of the Hamilton Police Forensics and K9 Unit responded to the scene.

No arrests have been made and police have not provided any suspect descriptions at this time.

Police say they believe this was a targeted incident.
