Woman dead after being struck by vehicle in St. Catharines

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for witnesses after a woman was struck by a vehicle and killed in the Southbound lanes of the QEW.

OPP say the fatal collision happened around 9:00 p.m. on Friday close to Niagara Street in St. Catharines.

Officers believe the woman may have been associated with a grey 2013 Kia Optima located on Niagara Street near the QEW at the time of the crash.

The woman is described as having tanned skin, black hair and wearing black pants and a brown jacket.
