Woman charged in Bosma murder has bail hearing

A bail hearing for the woman who is charged with being an accessory to the murder of Tim Bosma began today.

Christina Noudga smiled at friends and family who were in court to support her today as she took her spot in the prisoners quarters. It’s been more than three month since her arrest and she looks much more tired than when she made her first appearance back in April.

There were many members of Noudga’s family including both her parents and a number of friends. This is the first time that we have seen so much support for the 22-year old. The proceedings are covered by a publication ban so we cant talk about the evidence given in court today. We can tell you that they did not get through the everything today and court will resume tomorrow.

One notable absence today was Sharlene Bosma. She has been present at all proceedings prior to this one, but I am told by family friend Peter Lowe that she has been asked not at attend today, because there is a chance that she may be a potential witness down the road. The bail proceeding will continue Thursday at 11am.
