Niagara police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted in Grimsby over the weekend.

It happened around 5 a.m. Saturday in the area of Sherwood Park.

Police said a 29-year-old woman was assaulted but did not any release further details about the attack.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police at 905-688-4111, dial option 3 and badge number 9478.
