Wolf of Wall Street

Martin Scorcese’s The Wolf of Wall Street is based on the autobiographical novel by Jordan Belfort, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the young stockbroker who rose to wealth, before corrupt practices and the party lifestyle led to his downfall.

The film marks Scorcese and DiCaprio’s fifth collaboration, they have seen success in the past with films like The Departed and Gangs of New York. Wolf co-stars Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler and Margot Robbie.

The real wild card heading in to awards season, few people have seen the film as it was originally slated for a November release but pushed until Christmas so that it could be cut down from it’s 179 minute run time. Long, loud and boisterous The Wolf of Wall Street is a great choice to pump up the holidays. However, not one for the kids, the film is rated 18A.
