After winning his lawsuit against Hamilton police, Rikki Jeremiah talks about his unlawful arrest

A black man who was wrongfully arrested and assaulted by police is detailing the night he was thrown to the ground by Hamilton officers saying he was treated like a dog.

Nicole Martin spoke with Rikki Jeremiah at the scene of his arrest, an area of downtown Hamilton he’s avoided for the past 6 years.
