Wild mushroom warning issued in Toronto

A Toronto resident has been hospitalized after eating a poisonous wild mushroom.
Toronto Public Health says is was an Amanita mushroom, like the one in the picture above, which can sometimes be fatal.
Officials haven’t released any information on the patient’s condition, but would like to remind people about the dangers of eating wild mushrooms.
Some of the symptoms of eating poisonous mushrooms include nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea. However, sweating, convulsions, hallucinations and comas are also possible.
