There’s plenty of speculation about who’s going to be in Justin Trudeau’s cabinet and just how much leeway he intends to give the Ministers to run their departments when the new cabinet is sworn in tomorrow.

There will be some big changes to the ceremony at Rideau Hall. For the first time in Canadian history, the general public is being invited to the grounds of Rideau Hall to watch the cabinet swearing-in ceremony on big-screen TVs. But who exactly will be sworn in, is still a mystery.

He’s promised a small cabinet with an equal number of women and men, plus visible minorities and representation from all the provinces.

We’ll likely see veterans like Ralph Goodale, Marc Garneau, Stephane Dion and Scott Brison. Trudeau intends to formally open the new Liberal era with an emphasis on teamwork and openness. He and his cabinet ministers will arrive on a bus, instead of in private cars.
