What’s Open & Closed over the long weekend

Banks, government offices, post offices and LCBO’s are closed on Monday.

There will be no recycling or garbage collection in Hamilton or Halton, pick-up will be one day later. Garbage collection in Niagara is unaffected by the holiday.

Some Beer stores and grocery stores will be open with reduced hours.

Transit in Hamilton, Halton and Niagara will be running on a Sunday-holiday schedule for Monday and some routes will operate on reduced frequencies.

GO transit is running on a Saturday schedule.
