What’s open and closed this Easter weekend in Hamilton, Halton and Niagara

Here’s a look at what’s open and closed for Good Friday (April 18) and Easter Sunday (April 20).

OPEN:

• City Buses; Hamilton, Halton, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines (Sunday schedule)
• GO transit – Sunday schedule
• Niagara region garbage collection

CLOSED:

• Banks
• Government offices
• Post offices
• Hamilton garbage collection
• Welland and Fort Erie transit

Most grocery stores, malls, LCBO and Beer Stores are closed for both Good Friday and Easter. The Hamilton Farmer’s Market has confirmed it will be closed for both holidays as well.
