What’s left of Ivor Wynne?

It was once the building that Tiger-Cats fans flocked to every game day, but now little remains of the old Ivor Wynne Stadium.

Crews are tearing down the final section of the north stands that overhang Beechwood Avenue. City officials say the street will re-open to regular traffic within the next two weeks.

Once the demolition is finished, the site cleanup will begin to remove all the debris and get it ready to for the excavation of the new stadium; that’s expected some time in March.
