What’s closed this new year’s

With the new year just around the corner, here’s a list of what’s closed.

CLOSED

• government offices
• libraries
• banks
• LCBO
• beer stores
• most grocery stores, retail outlets and malls
• garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week
• no mail delivery
• electricity will be at the off-peak rate all day

If you’re taking a bus in Hamilton your ride will be free after 6 pm. The holiday schedule applies New Year’s Day.
