What is in the budget?

We begin tonight with the details of how the minority Liberal government plans on spending your money this year.

No new taxes. That’s one takeaway from the provincial budget released Thursday at Queen’s Park. Another takeaway — this is a budget clearly designed not to provoke the provincial NDP. It’s main initiatives — a youth jobs creation plan — infrastructure spending — a promise to reduce insurance rates — and more money for social assistance.
