Welland parents charged

A Welland couple has been charged after police allege they beat their 15 year old with a weapon over a two-year period.

A 37 year old man has been charged with assault with a weapon.

His 39 year old wife is charged with assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats.

Police aren’t releasing any other information to protect the victim’s identity.
